Swiss Educator Speaks at Special ICAR Presentation

H.B. Danesh, president of Landegg International University in Switzerland, is a special guest lecturer today at the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution (ICAR). Danish will lead a discussion on “Has Conflict Resolution Grown Up?” at a noontime brown bag lecture.

Danesh is a founder of Landegg International University and the founder and director of its International Education for Peace Institute. He is an author, international lecturer, and consultant, with more than 30 years of academic and clinical experience as a psychiatrist.

Danesh’s areas of research and expertise include the causes and prevention of violence, marriage and family therapy, death and dying, consultation and conflict resolution, ethics, spiritual psychology, and world order and peace studies. He is the author and creator of the internationally acclaimed Education for Peace Program, first piloted in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
