On Feb. 1, the Administration of Justice Program will host a delegation of visiting Egyptian judges who will be on the Fairfax Campus to learn about the university’s philosophy on distance learning.
The judges will hear from various members of the faculty, including Daniele Struppa, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; Patricia Lewis, Arlington Campus non-profit management professional in residence; Jonathan Gifford, associate professor of public management and policy; and faculty members from the Division of Instructional Improvement and Instructional Technologies. The final speaker will be attorney Ann Springer from the American Association of University Professors.
The International Judicial Academy, located in Washington, D.C., contacted the university to arrange the session, which will be held in the conference room of the Public and International Affairs departmental offices in Robinson Hall. The event is only open to the delegation.
