Mason to Host Public Hearing, Unclaimed Property Outreach

On Friday, Jan. 6, Mason will host the Virginia Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees as they hold a joint public hearing on the state’s budget.
The public hearing will begin at 10 a.m. in the Johnson Center Dewberry Hall. Persons wishing to speak may register at the hearing site beginning at 9 a.m. For more details, see the Senate Finance Committee website.
In conjunction with the hearing, the Virginia Treasury Department’s Division of Unclaimed Property will hold an outreach activity, and members of the public can stop by to inquire about their unclaimed property, including money, stocks, bonds, dividends, utility deposits, insurance proceeds and tangible property.
