The Fall Information Technology Unit (ITU) Projects Briefing will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Research Hall, Room 163, on the Fairfax Campus.

Open to the Mason community, the briefing provides an opportunity to learn about projects and activities happening across all areas of the ITU. As always, questions are welcome.

Scheduled topics (subject to change) include:

  • Updates on the Learning Management System (Courses) upgrade, Bb Collaborate, password expiration, and ITU Support Center redesign
  • Extended overviews of history of Mason, capital projects, and telepresence/high-definition video conferencing
  • Previews of new projects, such as CMS Offering, Windows 7 upgrade, mobile apps development, and faculty/staff email selection

To be ecologically sensitive, only the table of contents and the pages of those projects actually being presented at the briefing will be printed. The full agenda and briefing book are available for download at pmo.gmu.edu/ituprojects.html.

For more information on this or previous briefings, see the Project Management Office website or contact Robert Nakles, rnakles@gmu.edu, or John Prette, jprette@gmu.edu, in the ITU Project Management Office.
