Faculty Senate Revises Course Evaluation Form; Elects Pober Chair

At its final meeting of the academic year, the Faculty Senate voted to approve minor changes in the teacher/course evaluation form used at the end of each semester and elected a new chair, Peter Pober, professor of communication and director of the Forensics Team.

Mason Announces Summer Arts Festival

Mason’s College of Visual and Performing Arts announces the second annual Mason Summer Festival, to be held on Mason’s Fairfax Campus May 31 to June 27.
This month-long festival celebrates artists and arts organizations from the university community and around the Northern Virginia region, presenting a diverse selection of artistic performances and events that unite professional artists, student artists, arts organizations and the community in a creative environment.
Inventive Engineering Class Broadens Perspective

Earlier this semester, Tomasz Arciszewski, professor in the Civil, Environmental and Infrastructure Engineering Department, hosted a collaborative lecture with the University of Maryland to further educate students on TRIZ, a tool that solves inventive problems.

Bartoli to Head Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution

Mason Awarded Grant to Support Veterans’ Services
