Faculty Senate Meets

At its first meeting of the spring semester on Jan. 21, the Faculty Senate discussed a proposed policy on transition leave for faculty members who are retiring and passed resolutions regarding evaluation of the Mason president and provost and follow-up to a previous resolution sent to the president.

A new wall mural went up at the Southside dining hall over the holiday break. The brainchild of project manager Nancy Pickens, the 22-by-16-foot mural was designed by Creative Services art director Sarah Seeberg with photos from the Creative Services collection. Athletics Hosts Green Night Basketball

Athletics will host Green Night at the Mason men’s basketball game on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. when the Patriots play against Delaware. Fans are encouraged to show their spirit by wearing a green shirt.
