CAPEC Announces Taiwan Study Opportunities

A five-year grant to promote Taiwan studies has enabled Mason’s Center for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (CAPEC) to offer students two new courses for the spring semester and a research travel grant for the summer.

According to Cheryl Choy, associate director of CAPEC, the objective of the grant is to enhance and make more broadly available knowledge about the history, society, language and culture of Taiwan through curriculum building and research.
