Scoreboard: Men’s Basketball, Soccer

The Patriots were the superior team throughout the men’s basketball game in Mason’s home opener Monday night against Brown, winning 89-52, at Patriot Center.

Gunston Graduates and Gets a Job; New Mascot Appears at Basketball Home Opener

The word is out: after 12 years of cheering as mascot at Mason athletic events, Gunston has graduated and moved on to a “real” job. At the same time, a new, as-yet-unnamed mascot took over Gunston’s cheerleading duties and debuted at the Mason men’s basketball home opener on Nov. 17.

Chanticleer Returns to Center for the Arts

This spectacular and elegant holiday concert is a beloved tradition at Mason’s Center for the Arts.

Center audiences have the opportunity to witness A Chanticleer Christmas on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. This holiday music performance includes a program that mingles medieval and Renaissance music with American spirituals, 13th-century motets and favorite Christmas carols.
