On Thursday, April 17, Robert F. Cozzens was recognized for 40 years of service to the university. Also recognized for 40 years of service were George Mushrush, Chemistry and Biochemistry, and retired faculty member Martin Cohen.

Road Improvements at Braddock Road Intersection to Ease Traffic Flow

By the end of May, Fairfax City officials anticipate the intersection of Braddock Road and Roberts Road, which borders the Fairfax Campus, will run much more efficiently with an added turn lane, new traffic lights and ramped sidewalks.

University Day Honors Employee Service

In celebration of George Mason’s full university status proclaimed by the Virginia General Assembly in 1972, the Mason community celebrates University Day every year.

Traditionally, this event is marked at Mason by an annual awards breakfast and recognition for employee services to Virginia.

This year’s celebration will be held on Thursday, April 17, and will honor many of Mason’s longest tenured employees.
