David Wiggins Is the 2008 Outstanding Supervisor

David Wiggins, director of the School of Recreation, Health and Tourism (RHT), has been selected by the Staff Senate as the 2008 Outstanding Supervisor. David will be honored at the May 6 Outstanding Achievement Awards ceremony at 9 a.m. in the Johnson Center Dewberry Hall.

Today Is Earth Day and Bike to Mason Day

The entire Mason community has been encouraged to bike to the Fairfax Campus to celebrate Earth Day today. Daylong events include free food, free bike tune-ups and giveaways. Bikes for the World will be on hand to collect donated used bikes.

Town Hall Meetings on Faculty/Staff Housing to Be Held

Two open Town Hall meetings will be held next week on the Fairfax Campus to discuss the Faculty/Staff Housing project currently under way. Tom Calhoun, vice president for facilities, will share information on policies, locations and schedules.
