The Mason men’s basketball team remained unbeaten at home and won its fourth straight game, as the Patriots easily dispatched of Old Dominion, 86-53 at Patriot Center last night.

Mason Professor Emerita of Counseling and Development Dies

Linda Seligman, professor emerita of counseling and development in the College of Education and Human Development at Mason, passed away on Dec. 24, 2007, at the age of 63 from a recent recurrence of cancer. Seligman retired in 2002 after 25 years of state service.

Faculty Senate Seeks Representative to BOV

At Wednesday’s Faculty Senate meeting, senators voted in favor of a resolution requesting that the university’s Board of Visitors (BOV) accept a nonvoting faculty member elected by the general faculty to sit on the board.
