Turn off the Violence Week Begins Today

Turn off the Violence, a week-long initiative to call attention to the impact of sexual and domestic violence on campus, begins Monday, Oct. 3. The initiative is sponsored by Sexual Assault Services (SAS), the Women’s Center, Men’s Allies Group and University Life.

University Mourns Death of Professor Ellen Fagenson Eland

Ellen Fagenson Eland

Ellen Fagenson Eland, professor of management and a leading expert in business mentoring, died on Sunday, Sept. 25, after a long illness.

“Ellen has made so many impressive contributions as both a teacher and scholar,” says Richard Klimoski, dean of the School of Management. “Her expertise and insights have received national recognition, both in the media and by her colleagues in management education. She has also had a profound influence on so many students in the classroom – she will be sorely missed here at Mason.”
