John Spaldo has been named the assistant vice president of University Services. He replaces Ken Bumgarner, who retired last year.

A Legislative Town Hall Meeting will be held at the Arlington Campus, Arlington I Atrium, on Thursday, Jan. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. The community is invited to attend.

CGE Plans to Sponsor Iraqi Doctoral Students

George Mason will invite two Iraqi doctoral students to complete research on their dissertations under the auspices of a new initiative from the Provost’s Office and the Center for Global Education (CGE).

Sharon Littley, executive assistant to Anne Agee, is the January Employee of the Month. Accolades from the people she works with include her people skills–patient, friendly, efficient–her perpetual readiness to roll up her sleeves and help, her willingness to take on additional tasks, her contributions to all of the Information Technology Unit (ITU), and her professionalism.
