Poet Jason Sommer Reads Tonight

Poet Jason Sommer, author of the award-winning book, Other People’s Troubles, will read tonight at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall Grand Tier III. The reading is part of the Visiting Writer’s Series, sponsored by the Creative Writing Program at George Mason University.

George Mason’s 36th annual Commencement is May 17 at 10 a.m. in the Patriot Center. University faculty members are encouraged to join the academic procession and the celebration of the success of their students.

Dorian Mroz Is March Employee of the Month

Dorian Mroz, the March Employee of the Month, loves her job. “I get to combine my love of numbers with my love for the art; and I live only two miles away,” she says. Recently promoted to director of finance and administration in the College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA), she assists with budgetary and human resource planning and administration for the college.
