BOV Votes to Renew Appeal to State for Greater Support

George Mason’s Board of Visitors (BOV) had its final regular meeting of the calendar year yesterday and unanimously agreed to make one more appeal to Gov. Mark Warner to reconsider any further budget cuts to the university and its sister institutions.

Music Department Presents Three Performances

The Music Department presents a faculty recital tonight at 8 p.m. in Harris Theatre. Laura Mann, soprano, and Susan Ricci, piano, will perform a glittering array of musical repertoire from opera, musical theater, and special selections from Mann’s award winning tour In a Woman’s Voice.

WGMU To Broadcast Patriots Basketball Games on the Web

O’Rourke, O’Hara, Alabi Honored by CAA in Men’s Soccer

George Mason freshman defender Damian O’Rourke was named co-Rookie of the Year and joined teammates sophomore goalkeeper John O’Hara and freshman forward Steve Alabi in being named to the all-conference teams at the 2002 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Men’s Soccer Awards Banquet in Virginia Beach.
