Summer Term Offers Seminars and Special Topics on ‘Impact of War’

In recent years, terms like “War on Terror,” “insurgency” and “human rights” have become commonplace in discussions of global affairs. This summer, Mason offers more than a dozen courses that look at these terms and their implications.

Preparations are in the works for this fall’s opening of the Fairfax Campus’ new 2,600-space Rappahannock River Parking Deck – a structure so large it has prompted City of Fairfax and Mason officials to permanently alter traffic flow on the north end of campus.

Mason to Raise Tuition for Next Academic Year

At its final meeting of the year, Mason’s Board of Visitors (BOV) voted to raise tuition and fees for in-state undergraduate students by 6.8 percent or $512 for the 2009-10 academic year.
