James R. Ball, co-founder and first president of the Century Club of George Mason University, which later became the Business Alliance of George Mason University, died on Monday, April 6. He was 63.

Leo C. Rigsby, associate professor of educational transformation, faculty member and former director of the Initiatives in Educational Transformation (IET) program in the College of Education and Human Development, died on Feb. 6 of an aneurism. He was 70.

On Monday, Jan. 26, the Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby, Ohio, will hold a tribute and scholarship fund raiser at the Melanie Williams Memorial Basketball game in honor of the Mason student who died in a car accident last November.
