The Office of the Provost is sponsoring an additional Forum on the State of Mason Academics at the Fairfax Campus on Tuesday, Dec. 19. The forum will provide an opportunity for exchange and questions between the provost, relevant members of his staff and the university community.
Initial remarks at this forum will focus on the accountability and student learning outcomes; initiatives in Loudoun, Ras Al Khaimah and the Smithsonian; budget and budget prospects; and George Mason as a great university (a recent Board of Visitors topic).
Discussion can range over these topics and any others brought by the audience. Questions and comments will be welcome, in what is intended as a lively and mutually instructive exchange. Light refreshments will be served.
The forum will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in Mason Hall, Room D3 A and B.
