Yodit Temesgen Named Employee of the Month

The University’s Employee of the Month Selection Committee announced that Yodit Temesgen of the Cash Office is Employee of the Month for August.
Number of Years at Mason: Two
Birthplace: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Current Position: Cashier for the Cash Office
What She Does: Processes student tuition payments, student enrollment deposits, third-party payments, sponsored program payments, financial aid payments and department deposit.
On Developing Friendships at the University: The nature of her position offers ample opportunities for her to interact with Mason’s diverse population of students, parents, faculty and staff. “I also work with a wonderful staff at the Cash Office.”
On Keeping Calm during Stressful Times: “I pray to God to grant me patience, understanding and wisdom.”
Memorable Mason Events That Come to Mind: When Mason made it to the Final Four. “I will always remember such a great school spirit.”
