Leslie Katz joins George Mason as director of communications for University Relations. She most recently was manager of corporate communications for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. in Miami, Fla.

Amanda Kraus joins the Capitol Connection as a producer/director and tech coordinator.

Carrie Lake, University Relations, has left the university for a position as director of communications at the Professional Services Council, a trade association in Arlington, Va.

Evelia Perez joins Accounts Payable as senior accounts payable fiscal technician.

Jean-Richard Rosemond joins the Johnson Center Library as evening circulation supervisor.

Suhua Han joins the National Center for Biodefense and Infectious Diseases as a lab and research specialist.

Naida Kuruvilla joins Public and International Affairs as assistant coordinator.

Karen Misencik joined the Women’s Studies staff as associate director. A PhD candidate in cultural studies, Karen returned to Mason from her recent position as program director for the Women’s Law and Public Policy Fellowship Program at Georgetown University.
