ADJ Students Present Work at National Meeting

Students from the Administration of Justice (ADJ) Honors Seminar presented a poster of their research work at the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences annual meeting on March 3 in Baltimore. The poster, based on a survey the class recently conducted using Mason students, was titled "Public Views on the Use of Racial/Ethnic Profiling to Fight Crime and Terrorism."

Johnson says the yearlong ADJ Honors Seminar gives undergraduate students the opportunity for hands-on experience conducting and presenting scholarly research.
"The students in the ADJ Honors Program are very motivated and have done an excellent job developing and conducting this research project. They were excited to present the results of their research at a national conference and are looking forward to seeing their work published in a scholarly journal in the near future."
