Faculty, staff and students at George Mason University have access to free online training for IT professionals, IT end users (such as MS Office and select software applications), and business professionals (such as communication, team building, project management and sexual harassment).
This dialogue will explain how to most effectively use the system and answer questions about the SkillPort web site and catalog. Find out how to leverage this resource as a professional development tool, and how faculty and students might use the system to address core or remedial skills outside of the classroom.
Star Muir, director, Learning Support Services, and Marlys Shoup, training manager, Learning Support Services, will host this dialogue on Thursday, March 23, from 2 to 3 p.m. in Innovation Hall, Room 419 on the Fairfax Campus. It will be videoconferenced to Prince William Campus, Occoquan Hall, Room 221, and Arlington Campus, Original Building, Room 335.
RSVPs are requested to email@example.com.
