‘Collapse’ Opens Next Week

“Collapse,” a sculpture installation by Ledelle Moe, opens on Tuesday, Jan. 31, in the Fine Arts Gallery on the Fairfax Campus. The show runs through March 3.
An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2, from 7 to 9 p.m., and an artist’s talk will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 4:30 p.m. in the gallery, which is on the ground floor of the Fine Arts Building.
Moe received her art training and diplomas from Technikon Natal in Durban, South Africa. She later moved to the United States and received an MFA in sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University. An emerging international artist, Moe has had exhibitions in Durban, Pretoria, Stockholm, New York, Washington and Baltimore. Moe teaches sculpture at the Maryland Institute College of Art and currently works out of her studio in Washington, D.C.
