School of Computational Sciences Holds Research Colloquium

The spring series of Research Colloquium in Computational Sciences begins Monday, Feb. 6, with a guest presentation by Carlos Gonzalez of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Gaithersburg, Md.
The talk will be at 4:30 p.m. in the Science and Tech I Building, Room 206, on the Fairfax Campus. An abstract of Gonzalez’s presentation, “Challenges of Quantum Chemical Methodologies for the Study of the Physical and Chemical Properties of Materials at the Nano-Scale,” is online.
There will be 10 colloquia this semester, all taking place on Mondays at 4:30 p.m. in the same location. The complete schedule is available here.
