This spring, George Mason is launching its first web portal pilot, myMason, for a small group of residential students.
Kirsten DeLashmutt, portal and web development manager, will host a DoIT Dialogue on the portal project on Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 10 to 11 a.m. The dialogue will be held in Innovation Hall’s 4th floor conference room on the Fairfax Campus. It will be videoconferenced to Prince William Campus, Occoquan Hall, Room 221, and Arlington Campus, Original Building, Room 335.
The portal will provide students with subscriptions to multiple content channels, single sign-on to e-mail and additional features. The spring pilot will hone in on what students are requesting, determine their needs and assess what additional value the university can provide to enhance their educational experience.
Faculty and staff are welcome; RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
