Mason Goes 3-2 in Dual Wrestling Meets

Day two of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Duals concluded Saturday at the George Mason University Fieldhouse. Held for the fourth consecutive year at George Mason, the event featured all 11 CAA teams.
In round three, George Mason shut out Wagner College, 53-0, Hofstra University defeated Old Dominion University (ODU) 26-15, Drexel University beat Campbell University 36-12 and Rider University cruised past Binghamton University 43-10.
Round four results include a 27-18 George Mason victory over Boston University, an 18-18 tie between Rider and ODU, as well as victories by both Hofstra and Sacred Heart University.
The fifth and final round of the duals included victories by Hofstra over George Mason (33-10), ODU over Boston (34-10), Rider over James Madison University (JMU) (36-9) and Sacred Heart over Campbell (48-6).
Overall school CAA Duals performances follow: Binghamton (0-3), Boston (2-3), Campbell (2-3), Drexel (1-2), George Mason (3-2), Hofstra (5-0), JMU (1-4), ODU (3-1-1), Rider (4-0-1), Sacred Heart (2-2) and Wagner (1-4).
George Mason continues its dual meet slate Saturday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m. at Duquesne University with Binghamton.
