DoIT’s Training in Office and Productivity Skills (TOPS) program will offer comprehensive courses in Microsoft Access 2003, Excel 2003 and PowerPoint 2003 at the Fairfax Campus this spring.
- The 15-week Access course starts on Monday, Jan. 30, and runs through May 8. The class meets each Monday from 9 a.m. to noon.
- The 20-week Excel course starts on Wednesday, Feb. 1, and runs through June 21. The class meets each Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
- The 13-week PowerPoint course starts on Friday, Feb. 3, and runs through April 28. The class meets each Friday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Taking these classes will prepare participants for the Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) certification exam.
Initially, a Word 2003 comprehensive course was also being offered, but interest was insufficient. However, regular Word 2003 workshops will be offered during the spring semester.
A $150 fee covers all training materials and manuals for each course.
