In response to the online training course demand, George Mason’s Office of Continuing Professional Education (OCPE) has partnered with Gatlin Education Services to provide new online certification programs in health care, business, construction, automotive technology, Internet design and technology and video game design and development.
These new asynchronous online training courses are designed for individuals who want advanced training and certifications, who want to switch career paths or who are first-time job seekers who need specialized training. The courses are all open enrollment and self-paced, and students are paired with a personal instructor.
Each course offers a unique blended learning experience and includes everything needed to succeed: Internet resources, books, CD-ROM, lessons, quizzes and assignments. Online training courses take an average of 90 days to complete.
Gatlin Education Services is the largest provider of asynchronous web-based, instructor-supported training offered through colleges and universities.
