Relax before Finals with WinterFest Activities

Traditionally held the week before reading days and final exams begin, George Mason’s Program Board’s annual WinterFest on the Fairfax Campus is being held this week. “WinterFest is meant to be a stress reliever right before exams,” says Nikki Elston, assistant director of student activities for programming. “It’s a good way for students to have some downtime when everyone has such hectic schedules.”

The WinterFest schedule:

Tuesday, Dec. 6

  • Coffee and Tea Break with free cookies and donuts. Johnson Center, Kiosk F, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Craft Corner. Johnson Center, Kiosk E, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 7

  • Coffee and Tea Break with free coffee and donuts. Johnson Center, Kiosk D, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Decorate Your Own Cookies. Johnson Center, Kiosk D, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Sneak Peak Movie: “Grandma’s Boy.” Johnson Center Cinema, 8 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 8

  • Craft Corner. Johnson Center, Kiosk G, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Coffee and Tea Break with free cookies and donuts. Johnson Center, Kiosk G, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
