Competition concluded on Saturday in the Colonial Athletic Association four-team swimming and diving pod meet at Davidson College. In the final team standings, George Mason’s men’s team posted head-to-head wins over Davidson College, College of Charleston and Drexel University, while the Patriots on the women’s side defeated Drexel and Davidson, but fell to Charleston by one point.

Mason’s men’s and women’s 200 medley relay teams claimed victories to start the day, with Davidson coming in second in both events. The Patriots’ freshman Allie Smith out-swam the competition in both the 200 back and 500 free. Mason’s senior Tim Norton, public administration major, won the 200 back, and junior Tom Koucheravy, sports management major, won the 500 free.

Mason will return to action at its own Patriot Invitational at the Aquatic and Fitness Center on Nov. 18-20.
