Gubernatorial Debate at Mason Today

George Mason and WTOP Radio will host a special debate edition of the “WTOP Politics Program with Mark Plotkin” live from Mason’s Harris Theater on the Fairfax Campus today at 10 a.m. The event is open to the public.
The debate will take place between gubernatorial candidates Russ Potts (I) and Tim Kaine (D). Republican Candidate Jerry Kilgore declined an invitation to participate.
The debate will be hosted by WTOP Political Analyst Mark Plotkin and moderated by WTOP News Anchor and “Politics Program” Co-Host Bruce Alan. Panelists are Mark Rozell, George Mason public policy professor, and Bruce DePuyt of NewsChannel 8.
The debate will also air on NewsChannel 8 at 11 p.m. tonight.
