Fall Convocation to Focus on Successful Campaign

George Mason’s successful fund-raising campaign will be the focus of the fall convocation, set for Thursday, Oct. 6, at 3 p.m. in Harris Theatre on the Fairfax Campus. The entire campus community is invited.
President Alan Merten, with the assistance of members of the university’s Development office, will highlight Mason’s first-ever comprehensive fund-raising campaign, which raised $142 million—$32 million more than the original dollar goal.
Other highlights of this event will be the recognition of new faculty and discussion of Mason’s building and expansion plans.
