Mason Moves Up in Political Science Research Expenditures

The National Science Foundation rankings for research expenditures by discipline for fiscal year 2003, the most recent year reported, have just been released. For the field of political science, which includes public policy, public administration and public affairs, George Mason moved up to fourth place in federally financed R&D expenditures.

The Naval Postgraduate School is ranked first; Harvard University is ranked second; and the University of Michigan is third. The complete top 20 list follows:
