Candidates for RAK Campus Dean to Make Presentations

The Office of the Provost cordially invites members of the Mason community to attend presentations beginning next week by three candidates for the position of dean, Ras Al Khaimah Campus, United Arab Emirates.
The candidates will share their visions for the UAE campus as well as their sense of the pitfalls, promises and priorities of the new position, with a question-and-answer-session to follow. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.
Resumes of candidates chosen as finalists are available for review at the circulation desks of the Johnson Center, Arlington and Prince William Libraries. The schedule of presentations follows:

- Thursday, Aug. 25, 10-11:30 a.m., Mason Hall Board Room (D23)
Gordon Brent Ingram, senior environmental planner and visiting associate professor, American University of Sharjah, UAE
- Wednesday, Aug. 31, 10-11:30 a.m., Mason Hall Room D3 A and B
Omar Mohammed, acting dean/director, Student Academic Affairs, Zayed University, UAE
