Construction has been under way for six months on the George Mason University Foundation’s new five-story office/retail complex and parking deck on the Arlington Campus. The first story is now taking shape. Scheduled to be completed next summer, the 205,000-square-foot building will consist of 192,500 square feet of office space and 12,500 square feet of retail space. The project will also include 760 parking spaces.
SRA International Inc. has signed a 10-year lease on the office building. The facility will provide off-site parking for the university and, ultimately, a debt-free building for university use.
