Night of Stars Celebrates Forensics Team Talent

The George Mason Forensics Team will present the second annual Night of Stars tonight at 7 p.m. in Lecture Hall I. The evening will feature six performances in public speaking, oral interpretation, and limited preparation genres. The event is free and open to the public.

Nationally ranked fourth, the team leaves for the national tournament at Kansas State University on March 29. The Night of Stars is a pre-tournament celebration honoring the team’s accomplishments and highlighting some of the finalists heading to Kansas. Students featured at the event and their categories are Chris Koth, informative speaking; Patrick Barton, communication analysis; Duval Bodden, dramatic interpretation; Josh Berrier and Christyn Wallace, duo interpretation; Erica Radcliffe, after-dinner speaking; and Tiffany Banks, poetry interpretation.
