George Mason’s new campus in Ras-Al-Khaimah (RAK), United Arab Emirates, had its official beginning last week when agreements were signed between the university and Ras-Al-Khaimah Human Development Foundation, a collaboration between the RAK government and a private company, ETA Ascon Group. Above, Provost Peter Stearns, far left, watches as Long Nguyen, a member of George Mason’s Board of Visitors, and H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, crown prince of RAK, sign papers.
