George Mason Men’s Basketball Plays in CAA Tournament

The George Mason Patriots, seeded no. 6, will play University of North Carolina-Wilmington, seeded no. 3, tomorrow night in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Men’s Basketball Championship quarterfinals. The game is at 8:30 p.m. in the Richmond Coliseum.
In first-round action tonight, James Madison University (JMU), seeded 8, will meet the College of William and Mary (W&M), seeded 9, followed by no. 7 University of Delaware versus no. 10 Towson University.
Tomorrow, no. 1 Old Dominion University will face the JMU/W&M winner at noon, followed by Drexel University, no. 4, versus Hofstra University, no. 5, at 2:30 p.m. In the evening session, no. 2 Virginia Commonwealth University will play the Delaware/Towson winner at 6 p.m.
The two semifinal games will take place at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, with the championship game set for 7 p.m. on Monday, March 7.
The Patriots finished the regular season 16-12 overall (10-8 CAA).
