William Soza Joins Mason’s Board of Visitors

William Soza, founder of Soza & Company LTD, an accounting, management, and technical consulting services firm, has been named to George Mason University’s Board of Visitors. He replaces Roger Mody, who recently resigned.

Soza, who currently serves as a commissioner of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, was named one of the 100 most influential Hispanics in the United States by Hispanic Business Magazine in 1999. The previous year he was recognized as the national Hispanic businessman of the year by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Under his leadership, Soza & Company was named a top 100 federal information technology prime contractor by Washington Technology Magazine in 2002. He has served on the George Mason University Foundation Board of Trustees since 1998.

Soza received his BBA in accounting from the University of Texas, Austin, and is a certified public accountant.
