Sen. John Warner to Deliver 2005 Commencement Address

U.S. Sen. John Warner will be George Mason University’s commencement speaker this year on Saturday, May 21. He is expected to address more than 5,500 graduates that day.
Other highlights of this year’s ceremony will be the awarding of the Mason Medal and several honorary degrees.
The Mason Medal will be awarded to Sally Merten, wife of President Alan Merten, and businessman and long-term Mason supporter Earle Williams. Honorary degrees will be awarded to Sen. Warner and choreographer Mark Morris.
