Homecoming 2005 Activities Wrap Up

Homecoming Week 2005 ended with a bang—literally—with fireworks after the game on Saturday. The Patriots played Manhattan College in a special ESPN Bracket Buster Saturday series, winning 78 to 66. In other Homecoming celebrations, Mason offices around the Fairfax Campus went “Old Skool” last week, and the Arlington and Prince William Campuses had special activities too.

This year, a record 17 offices entered the office decorating competition. The Office Decorating Committee would like to thank those who used their creativity and Mason spirit to turn their offices into “Old Skool.” The winners are:

First Place—College of Arts and Sciences Academic Affairs, Enterprise Hall, Room 316

Second Place—Financial Aid Office, South Chesapeake Module

Third Place—English Department, Robinson Hall A, Room 487

Honorable Mention—Health and Wellness Center, SUB I, Room 214
