Second Candidate for VP for University Relations to Speak Today and Tomorrow

Gene C. Sands, executive director of university relations at Louisiana State University, the second candidate for the position of vice president for university relations, will make his presentation today at the Fairfax Campus from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Johnson Center, Room C. Tomorrow, he will speak from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in Bull Run Hall, Room 130, on the Prince William Campus, teleconferenced to the Arlington Campus, Original Building, Room 335.

The third candidate for the position, Curtis K. Carlson, vice president for public affairs at Emory University in Atlanta, will make his first presentation on Monday, Feb. 21, at the Fairfax Campus from 3 to 4 p.m. in Mason Hall, Room D23. There will also be a public meeting on Feb. 22 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in Bull Run Hall, Room 130, on the Prince William Campus; this meeting will be teleconferenced to the Arlington Campus, Original Building, Room 335.

The final candidate, Carl A. Fillichio, vice president for communications, innovations, and public engagement for the Council for Excellence in Government in Washington, D.C., will be presenting at the Fairfax Campus on Thursday, Feb. 24, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Johnson Center, Room F. There will also be a public meeting on Feb. 25 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in Bull Run Hall, Room 130, on the Prince William Campus; this meeting will be teleconferenced to the Arlington Campus, Original Building, Room 335.
