First Candidate for VP for University Relations Visits Mason Next Week

The Search Committee for the Vice President of University Relations cordially invites all faculty, staff, and students to attend a presentation by Christine LaPaille, director of the Office of Communications for the National Governors Association, Washington, D.C., who is the first candidate being considered for the position.

LaPaille’s presentation will take place on Monday, Feb. 14, at the Fairfax Campus from 2 to 3 p.m. in Mason Hall, Room D3 A and B. LaPaille will discuss building the local, national, and international reputation of George Mason over the next five years, with a question-and-answer session to follow. There will also be a public meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the Bull Run Hall, Room 130, on the Prince William Campus. This meeting will be teleconferenced to the Arlington Campus, Original Building, Room 335.

The remaining candidates will present at the following times:

Candidate two: Fairfax Campus, Thursday, Feb. 17, 3 to 4 p.m., Johnson Center, Room C. Prince William Campus, Friday, Feb. 18, 10:30 to 11 a.m., Bull Run Hall, Room 130; teleconferenced to the Arlington Campus, Original Building, Room 335.

Candidate 3: Fairfax Campus, Feb. 21, 3 to 4 p.m., Mason Hall, Room D23. Prince William Campus, Feb. 22, 10:30 to 11 a.m., Bull Run Hall, Room 130; teleconferenced to the Arlington Campus, Original Building, Room 335.

Candidate 4: Fairfax Campus, Feb. 24, 2 to 3 p.m., Johnson Center, Room F. Prince William Campus, Feb. 25, 10:30 to 11 a.m., Bull Run Hall, Room 130; teleconferenced to the Arlington Campus, Original Building, Room 335.
