Candidate for Vice President for Research to Give Presentations This Week

The Office of the Provost cordially invites the Mason community to attend a presentation by Joel Davis, program manager, Computational Neuroscience Section, Office of Naval Research, who is the first candidate of four being considered for the position of vice president for research.

Davis’ presentations will take place tomorrow from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Mason Hall, Room D23, on the Fairfax Campus; and from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Arlington I, Room 412, on the Arlington Campus. He will also make a presentation on Friday, Jan. 21, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Occoquan Building, Room 110A, at the Prince William Campus. Davis will discuss building the research enterprise at George Mason over the next five years, with a question-and-answer session to follow. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend.

Resumes of candidates chosen as finalists are available for review at the circulation desks of the Johnson Center, Arlington, and Prince William Libraries.
