Bull Run Hall, the newest academic building at the Prince William Campus, is the prime attraction of the Information Technology Unit (ITU) 2004 Open House on Wednesday, Dec. 1. Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend from 10 a.m. to noon in the atrium, where refreshments will be served, and prizes awarded from among those registered. The Mason Express Shuttle provides complimentary transportation at convenient intervals between the Fairfax and Prince William Campuses.
The open house will feature displays, exhibits, and demonstrations from ITU’s Division of Instructional and Technology Support Services, Technology Systems Division, University Libraries, Project Office, IT Security Office, as well as guest departments.
Visitors will also be offered tours of Bull Run Hall, which flaunts distinctive glass walls and a meandering white stairway. The three-story, 100,000 square-foot building houses more than 1,200 academic stations in electronic classrooms, computer classrooms and labs, lecture halls, and science labs.
