Spotlight Speaker Series Focuses on National Security

“Connecting the Dots: A Matter of National Security” is the topic of the next Spotlight Speaker Series tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Arlington County Public Library auditorium. The talk will focus on national security and the ability to make sense out of masses of information.

David Schum, George Mason professor, School of Law and School of Information Technology and Engineering, and honorary professor of evidence science at University College, London, will discuss what it means to connect the dots in relation to our national security and how we all might be able to do a better job. The event is free and open to the public.

Spotlight Speakers in 2005 will include Robert Rogowsky, professor in the School of Public Policy, who will speak on Thursday, March 3; and Sandra Cheldelin, professor in the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, who will speak on Wednesday, April 20.
