Peter Boettke, professor of economics, encourages faculty and staff to attend the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Workshop to discuss political economy-related topics. The workshop is held on Mondays each semester from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in Enterprise Hall, Room 318.
“The workshop was established in 1999 to encourage and explore the latest research at the intersection of these three disciplines by scholars from across the social sciences and humanities,” Boettke says.
The next workshop is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 1. The featured speaker is Jena Bednar, political science, University of Michigan, whose topic is “The Robust Federation.”
Papers on the week’s topic are available one week in advance outside Room 324, Enterprise Hall. For more information and the schedule of speakers and topics, click here or e-mail Boettke at firstname.lastname@example.org.
