Old Town Hall Lecture Focuses on Political Advertising

“Persuasion and Political Advertising” is the topic of the next Old Town Hall Lecture on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 7:30 p.m. Janette Muir, associate dean, New Century College, is the featured speaker. She will take a historical approach to looking at and understanding political advertisements, primarily focusing on presidential ads, although some senatorial races may be included.
The lecture is held on the second floor of Old Town Hall, at the corner of University Drive and Main Street in the City of Fairfax. It is free and open to the public, and refreshments are provided.
