The plaque was unveiled last week at a reception last week for the opening of “Simplicity, Permanence, and Economy: The Origins of George Mason University’s Fairfax Campus,” an exhibit created by the University Libraries’ Special Collections and Archives now on display in the Johnson Center Gallery through Oct. 16.
