the Fairfax Campus.
Arthur Arundel, left, and President Alan Merten admire a plaque that will be placed in the foyer of the new building. The plaque was unveiled last week at a reception last week for the opening of “Simplicity, Permanence, and Economy: The Origins of George Mason University’s Fairfax Campus,” an exhibit created by the University Libraries’ Special Collections and Archives now on display in the Johnson Center Gallery through Oct. 16. Arundel was involved in the opening of the first buildings on the Fairfax Campus.
